Check in/out

Check-in is between 3PM and 6PM and check-out is before 11AM. Upon arrival, please ring the doorbell at the front door and our staff will welcome you in.

Cancelation

Cancelation is free of charge up to 72 hours before the planned check-in date. Within 72 hours of check-in, a fee of the first night’s rate will be charged.

Covid 19

We are following industry guidelines as they evolve as well as state and local health department recommendations and requirements. We ask that guests wear a mask while inside the common areas and practice social distancing. Stay well, everyone.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 9:30 am. If you know you will not be taking breakfast, please let us know. If you decide to sleep in without telling us, don't worry about it—remember you're on vacation!

No Smoking

Cecil Bacon Manor is a non smoking hotel.

Noise and Common Areas

Please be reasonable and respectful to all other guests in residence in our common areas and during quiet hours. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Bedtimes vary, but they’re also what make our bed and breakfast special - a good night’s sleep.

Recycling

We in Seattle are very proud of our recycle rate and, here at the Cecil Bacon Manor, we do as much recycling as we can. In order to assist us in this effort, we ask that you place used newspapers, brochures and bottles (no lids) in the special blue RECYCLE can in your room.

Please do not put any trash in the non-trash dumpsters behind the screen near the sidewalk. The trash goes in the dumpster closest to the curb only. Recyclables are the next three and the last can is organic waste including soiled food containers and food. If you have trouble figuring out which bin to use, feel free to give your trash to our staff and we’re happy to take care of it for you.

Emergency

In case of FIRE/ALARM: Leave your room immediately, closing all doors behind you. Proceed down the main stairwell or the service stairwell to the ground floor and exit through either the front door guest exit/entrance at the end of the hallway or back patio door in the living room by the piano or the door in the foyer next to the check-in desk. There is also an exit through the marked door at the bottom of the service stairwell one floor below main floor "basement" (use this exit only if other paths are not accessible). Please meet across Broadway in front of the big brick and stucco house at 954 Broadway E.

Do not waste time evacuating the building and do not gather your belongings; close but do not lock all doors behind you.

In case of MEDICAL EMERGENCY: call 911 and then contact us when possible. We will need to let the emergency personnel in the front door and guide them to the correct location, though they will brake down the door if necessary. If possible, tell them which room you are in and which floor.
